Monash Scouts
Scouting is for all young people aged between 6 and 26. For older young people, we'd love to have you come to help lead the fun and learning.
What do Scouts do?

Joeys, Cubscouts, Scouts, Ventures and Rovers meet every week in halls spead across the City of Monash. Look on the map in the "Where We Meet" section to find a group that meets near you.
Each of our groups is autonomous, and operates independently. Because they have different leaders who are all different people, they offer slightly different versions of the Australian Scouting program. Sometimes you may find that you feel more at home with one group than another; that's fine with us. We believe there's a Scout group that will suit every person that's located not too far away from you. We think it's most important that young people feel free to give Scouting a go.
In Monash all groups welcome young people to 'come and try' on any night, and without any obligation. We do ask that you let us know that you are coming first, because sometimes we're not meeting at the hall, but might be out in the wider world. Parents are welcome to come along too.

Young people are as safe as we can make them. All adults in Scouting have Police clearances, and also have been vetted to hold a Victorian 'Working with Children Check' card. All adults receive comprehensive training as leaders, and they bring their important life experience along with them too. We have teams of specially trained leaders we use for the more challenging activities like kayaking, abseiling, rock climbing, motorsports and gliding.
